Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate Full Stack Engineer to join our Melbourne (Cremorne) team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to develop meaningful technology that positively impacts millions of lives by building scalable and secure software solutions.

Technical Environment

• Backend technologies: Python, Django, Django REST Framework
• Frontend technologies: JavaScript/TypeScript, Next.js
• Cloud and DevOps tools: AWS, PostgreSQL, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines
• Preferred additional skills: AI/ML model integration, API design, infrastructure-as-code

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end features from front-end interfaces through back-end services to deployment.
• Write clean, maintainable code emphasizing testing, debugging, and version control.
• Think holistically about system interactions and impacts across a complex platform.
• Independently identify and solve problems spanning front-end, back-end, and infrastructure layers.
• Develop with a focus on security and compliance, especially handling sensitive personal and health data.
• Collaborate effectively in a small cross-functional team to translate operational needs into software solutions.
• Adapt rapidly to evolving tools, frameworks, and problem domains.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum three years of professional experience developing modern back-end and front-end applications.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, API development, and relational databases.
• Proactive problem-solver with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective teamwork in small, collaborative environments.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and agile methodologies.
