Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Overview

This role is designed for local candidates interested in either full-time or part-time employment. The position involves creating advanced AI solutions aimed at enhancing and automating various construction and business processes within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Agentic AI applications to streamline and automate workflows across construction and business functions.
• Develop autonomous and multi-agent AI systems to support different operational areas such as project management, engineering coordination, procurement, human resources, and finance.
• Create and maintain AI integrations utilizing Model Context Protocol (MCP) and other orchestration frameworks.
• Construct and refine AI pipelines that aggregate multiple AI capabilities into dependable and scalable platforms.
• Maintain AI platform components including vector databases, embedding workflows, retrieval systems, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) implementations.
• Develop intelligent document processing tools for handling construction-related documents like drawings, BOQs, RFIs, contracts, and project communications.
• Implement advanced document parsing, classification, metadata extraction, and data management to enhance project knowledge accessibility and information retrieval.
• Develop APIs and integration layers to connect AI solutions with existing construction and business software systems.
• Create AI-driven tools for document searching, reporting, data analytics, project monitoring, and workflow automation.
• Design, deploy, and sustain AI applications on established platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Ensure deployed AI solutions meet standards for scalability, security, reliability, and compliance with data protection policies.
• Continuously monitor and improve AI models, applications, and infrastructure to maximize performance, precision, and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in AI and machine learning development alongside automation technologies.
• Familiarity with or understanding of construction or engineering sector operations.
• Strong analytical capabilities with excellent problem-solving skills.
