Artificial Intelligence Engineer - Generative AI & Testing (Airline Domain)

Role Summary

We seek a seasoned Artificial Intelligence Engineer specialized in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agent creation, and AI system testing. The role focuses on designing, developing, validating, and deploying AI-driven solutions tailored for airline business workflows, emphasizing quality assurance, performance, and dependability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop AI systems using Python and frameworks related to LLMs, Generative AI, and agentic constructs.
• Construct and release AI agents, chatbots, agentic workflows, and automation platforms.
• Plan and implement thorough testing methodologies for AI models, LLMs, and agents.
• Conduct model validation, prompt evaluation, performance analysis, regression, security checks, and bias assessments.
• Create automated testing frameworks, metrics for evaluation, and continuous monitoring mechanisms for AI applications.
• Adopt MLOps and LLMOps workflows for AI deployment, testing, and governance.
• Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to align AI solutions with airline industry requirements.

Required Expertise

• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models, Generative AI, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and various AI models.
• Familiarity with AI development frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, LlamaIndex, and Semantic Kernel.
• Skilled in building AI agents, autonomous workflows, and agentic bots.
• Strong command over AI testing methods, including LLM evaluation, agent testing, functional, integration, regression, performance, security, prompt optimization, and responsible AI practices addressing bias and fairness.
• Experience using cloud AI services like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.

Industry Experience

• Previous exposure to the Airline, Aviation, or Travel sectors is advantageous.
• Understanding of airline operations such as customer service, reservations, crew and airport management, or passenger experience is beneficial.

Academic & Additional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related disciplines.
• Knowledge of MLOps/LLMOps implementations and frameworks for AI governance and ethical use.

Work Conditions

• Work location set in Abu Dhabi with full onsite presence, 5 days per week.
• Interview rounds include 1-2 stages with the delivery team and 1-2 with the end client.
