Generative AI Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled AI Engineer with specialization in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agent development, and AI Testing to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This position requires working from the office five days a week. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying AI-driven solutions tailored to airline business processes, emphasizing the reliability and quality of these AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop AI applications using Python alongside LLMs, Generative AI, and AI Agent frameworks.
• Create and launch AI agents, agentic workflows, chatbots, and automation tools.
• Design and implement complete AI testing plans covering model validation, prompt testing, performance, regression, security assessments, and bias checks.
• Set up automated testing frameworks, define evaluation metrics, and maintain monitoring strategies for AI solutions.
• Apply MLOps and LLMOps principles for deployment, testing, and governance of AI models.
• Work collaboratively with technology and business units to ensure AI solutions meet airline industry requirements.

Required Skills

• Proficient programming skills in Python.
• Practical experience working with LLMs, Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Vector Databases.
• Familiarity with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel.
• Strong background in developing AI agents, agentic bots, and autonomous workflows.
• Comprehensive understanding of AI Testing methodologies, including evaluation and validation of LLMs, AI agent testing, functional/integration/regression/performance/security testing, prompt optimization, and bias/fairness evaluation aligned with Responsible AI practices.
• Experience with cloud AI services on platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.

Domain Experience

• Mandatory expertise in the Airline, Aviation, or Travel sectors.
• Knowledge of airline operations such as customer service, reservations, crew management, airport operations, or enhancing passenger experiences is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related disciplines.
• Exposure to MLOps/LLMOps methodologies, AI governance, and frameworks supporting Responsible AI.
