Argos Shift Manager

About the Role

As an Argos Shift Manager, you will oversee the smooth running of shifts within Argos stores, leading and inspiring team members as the point of on-the-job support. You'll provide coaching to colleagues to ensure excellent customer service while actively participating on the shop floor. In the absence of the Store Manager, you will manage full store operations, including allocating resources to handle daily tasks such as warehouse organization, receiving deliveries, and serving customers. Your expertise in products and services will help drive sales and improve profitability.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven track record of providing excellent customer service and coaching others to do the same.
• Experience motivating teams, driving sales performance, and ensuring smooth operations.
• Commitment to making shopping quick, friendly, and easy for customers.
• Leadership capability to take responsibility for operations during management absences.
• Consistent success in meeting or exceeding key performance indicators related to sales, stock availability, customer satisfaction, or team engagement.
