Established in 1982, PDG Architects has extensive experience providing architectural planning and design services across various sectors including commercial, industrial, higher education, religious, government, and institutional projects. Job Responsibilities

  • Create architectural drawings and deliverables spanning from schematic design through to construction phases.
  • Produce detailed, coordinated construction documentation using Revit software.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with consultants specializing in structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.
  • Engage in field verification, site inspections, and assist with construction administration activities.
  • Support project timelines, permitting processes, and manage consultant communications.
  • Work closely with project managers, architects, consultants, and clients to ensure project success.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
  • Minimum of five years of professional experience within an architectural firm.
  • Expertise with Revit, AutoCAD, Enscape, and Microsoft Office suites.
  • Familiarity with building codes, accessibility regulations, and preparation of construction documents.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Motivated to pursue professional architectural registration in Texas.

Work Location and Requirements

This role is based in Houston, Texas and involves onsite office collaboration, local client and project meetings, as well as construction site visits. Candidates should currently reside in or be able to commute reliably to the Houston area.
