Handcrafters Studio is a Hyderabad-based design and construction practice providing bespoke architectural solutions from initial concept through to full execution. They specialize in comprehensive turnkey projects that integrate architecture, interior design, material sourcing, and site supervision all under one roof. The studio prioritizes both aesthetic excellence and practical durability across a diverse portfolio including private homes, commercial properties, boutique retreats, and farmhouses.
Role Overview
The studio seeks a proactive Architect with 2 to 5 years of experience to manage projects from conceptualization to final construction drawings. The role involves close collaboration with design and implementation teams to ensure seamless delivery of turnkey solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing floor plans and layouts aligned with client requirements.
- Creating elevation drawings and detailed design elements.
- Producing precise 2D and working drawings suitable for construction teams and site use.
- Coordinating architectural plans with basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and lighting schematics to maintain unified design and execution.
- Working collaboratively with interior designers, site supervisors, and procurement staff in an integrated workflow.
- Facilitating design updates and adjustments driven by site conditions through the execution process.
Required Qualifications
- Between 2 and 5 years of experience in architectural design and documentation.
- Solid skills in creating floor plans, elevation views, and comprehensive 2D construction drawings.
- Familiarity with MEP and lighting concepts sufficient to interpret and integrate these into drawings, though in-depth specialization is not required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with SketchUp or Revit is advantageous.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on producing documents ready for execution.
- Submission of a professional portfolio is mandatory with the application.
Additional Information
- This position requires working on-site in Hyderabad.
- Employees are entitled to leave on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month, or may receive compensation if required to work on these days.
