About the Role
WorthSpace in Lucknow is seeking a proficient Architect to manage the full lifecycle of residential and commercial architectural projects, from initial planning and approvals through to detailed drawings and on-site execution. The role requires close collaboration with clients, interior designers, structural consultants, engineers, and site teams to ensure projects meet approved designs, building regulations, and WorthSpace's quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze client needs, site specifics, and project goals to develop architectural concepts and space planning.
- Create detailed working drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and other architectural documents.
- Coordinate architectural plans with structural, electrical, plumbing, and interior design requirements.
- Prepare and manage documentation for statutory approvals.
- Ensure all designs adhere to local building codes, bye-laws, and development authority regulations.
- Engage closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and on-site teams to facilitate smooth project progress.
- Conduct site inspections regularly to verify adherence to approved drawings and resolve any technical or architectural challenges during construction.
- Review construction drawings, measurements, materials, and execution details for quality assurance.
- Implement changes in design as needed and secure client approval for revisions.
- Maintain stringent documentation and version control of drawings.
- Assist in cost estimation, Bill of Quantities preparation, and material selection as needed.
- Deliver projects that comply with quality standards, budget constraints, and set timelines.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) degree from an accredited institution.
- Has 3 to 7 years of relevant architectural experience, predominantly in residential design; commercial project experience is a plus.
- Skilled in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Revit, Lumion, or 3D rendering tools is advantageous.
- Possesses solid understanding of building construction techniques and working drawing preparation.
- Knowledgeable about local building regulations and approval procedures.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and coordination abilities.
- Capable of independently managing architectural projects and site coordination.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving aptitude.
- Preferably has a portfolio showcasing completed architectural projects.
