Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and registered Architect to join our Christchurch studio and lead educational sector projects within Ōtautahi, while also contributing to initiatives in other Jasmax offices. While the main focus is on education projects, opportunities exist to engage in a variety of sectors, fostering continued professional growth.
This role enables you to impact educational spaces by applying thoughtful, sustainable, and culturally aware design principles that enhance learning environments and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
- Lead the design and delivery of education-related architectural projects primarily in Christchurch.
- Support other education projects across multiple Jasmax locations.
- Participate in other sector projects to broaden expertise and experience.
- Contribute to creating engaging environments that foster learning and community connections through architectural excellence.
Candidate Profile
- Registered architect with a well-rounded skill set and preferably with experience in the education sector.
- Collaborative team player with a balanced skillset combining creative design sensibility and technical proficiency.
- Passionate about designing spaces that encourage learning, engagement, and community involvement.
- Proficient in architectural software including Revit and SketchUp.
