Position Overview

An established architectural firm in South Cambridgeshire is seeking a registered Architect with the ARB to join their expanding team. The role is a full-time, office-based position located in Cambridgeshire, UK, aimed at candidates with approximately 1 to 3 years of post-qualification experience. This opportunity focuses on nurturing a confident Project Architect who can manage projects independently.

Responsibilities

The Architect will work on a diversified portfolio that includes rural, commercial, community, sports, and leisure developments. Responsibilities include managing projects from initial concept stages through to their completion. Initially, the Architect will lead smaller projects with the backing and mentorship of seasoned professionals on larger jobs. Site visits and collaboration with clients, consultants, and contractors are integral.

Candidate Requirements

• Registration with ARB is mandatory.
• Approximately 1 to 3 years of post-qualification experience in architecture.
• Proficient in AutoCAD software.
• Experience engaging in site meetings and working during construction phases.
• Ability to handle smaller projects independently or work closely with a Project Architect on larger ones.
• Effective and confident communication skills with stakeholders including clients and contractors.
• A collaborative and approachable personality.
• Must hold a full driving licence and have access to a personal vehicle.
