Role Overview
As an Architect based in Jabalpur working full-time on-site, you will be involved throughout all project phases—from initial concepts to detailed drawings and execution. Daily duties include creating and evaluating architectural plans, collaborating with engineers and consultants, and ensuring compliance with local building standards. You will meet clients to understand requirements, present design alternatives, and revise plans responding to feedback and technical challenges. Responsibilities also include conducting site inspections to check construction progress against design intent, resolving coordination issues, maintaining documentation, supporting project timelines, and upholding quality and safety protocols.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient in architectural design and planning, including concept creation and spatial organization.
- Skilled in using design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or equivalents.
- Comprehensive knowledge of building codes, materials, construction methods, and regulations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with structural, MEP, and other engineering teams.
- Strong visualization, presentation, and documentation abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills with clients, contractors, and internal personnel.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities and experience managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch or equivalent) from a recognized university; professional licensure or progress toward registration is advantageous.
- Relevant experience in architectural design and project management, preferably with exposure to projects in Jabalpur or comparable regions.
