Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Applications Technician to join our Roofing team based in Dublin. This role involves delivering expert technical guidance and training to our customers to ensure proper installation of Sika roofing systems in line with specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake site inspections to verify that roofing systems are being installed correctly according to specifications and technical manuals by properly trained personnel.
• Provide on-site advice and assistance regarding system installation.
• Perform on-site testing using industry-standard equipment when required.
• Conduct training sessions to equip operatives with the necessary skills and knowledge for installing Sika Roofing Systems effectively.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• At least three years of experience in a construction-related technical or specification sales role is preferred.
• Prior experience or advisory role involving flat roofing systems is advantageous.
• Experience in performing building site inspections, surveys, and collaborating with contractors and designers is beneficial.
• A strong understanding of key building regulations and construction details relevant to roofing systems is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong working relationships.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Proven capability to develop and sustain robust customer relationships.
