Application Security Architect

About the Role

We are collaborating with a prominent Singapore-based firm in search of a senior Application Security Architecture leader to spearhead secure-by-design methodologies, enterprise security frameworks, and AI security strategies across an extensive technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct security architecture assessments and threat modeling across enterprise applications, cloud solutions, and transformational technology projects.
• Create and advocate secure reference architectures, design patterns, and security standards to foster secure-by-design implementation.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, platform, and DevOps teams to embed security measures throughout development lifecycles and delivery processes.
• Enhance and lead initiatives in DevSecOps, including security automation and developer-focused security enablement programs.
• Design and refine enterprise identity and access management systems spanning hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructures.
• Implement security governance, controls, and protective measures for advanced technologies, specifically Generative AI and AI-driven platforms.
• Offer technical expertise and leadership to influence business and technology stakeholders in elevating the organization's security posture.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or related fields.
• Robust software engineering foundation with practical coding experience.
• Proven leadership experience managing security architecture, application security, or technology consulting teams.
• Deep expertise in security architecture, threat modeling, cloud security, and secure system design approaches.
• Demonstrated success driving enterprise-wide security initiatives and influencing cross-functional teams.
• Comprehensive knowledge of modern application security practices, DevSecOps, security testing, automation, and cloud-native security controls.
• Familiarity with AI security, AI governance, and risks associated with emerging technologies is highly desirable.
• Preferred to hold recognized cybersecurity or cloud certifications.
