About the Role
This role offers an engaging opportunity within the expanding End User Services UK team, working alongside multiple prestigious clients in the company's portfolio. As an Application Packager, you will play a critical role in delivering software through a regulated and monitored approach, promoting innovation, process enhancement, and operational effectiveness to enhance end user experience.
The role follows a hybrid working model that alternates between company offices, client sites, and home, but requires presence in the office or client locations periodically.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement a structured and controlled process for software delivery to clients.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance testing of applications.
- Document each packaged application detailing its functions and packaging methodology.
- Build and maintain strong collaborations with clients, third parties, and vendors.
- Recognize and promote automation and efficiency improvements.
- Address problems with innovative solutions.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) issue resolution.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficient in software packaging across multiple platforms.
- Advanced knowledge and use of various packaging tools.
- Familiarity with multiple packaging formats.
- Problem-solving skills related to troubleshooting packaging issues.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) is advantageous.
