About the Role
Join the Ministry of Justice's Case Services team as an Application Engineer. In this role, you will manage the full lifecycle of application build, testing, release, deployment, and configuration. You'll collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, and Ministry staff at all technical levels, supporting and advancing our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle application build, test, deployment, and configuration activities with precision.
- Work alongside diverse stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Support business-as-usual (BAU) application incidents and change requests.
- Contribute to Continuous Integration and DevOps implementations.
- Engage in agile development and testing within product teams.
- Collaborate within cross-functional teams toward shared organizational objectives.
- Maintain effective communication across varied audiences on complex topics.
- Develop and sustain strong professional relationships internally and externally.
Required Skills and Experience
- 1 to 2 years' experience as an Application Engineer or a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Familiarity or willingness to learn technologies such as Java, APEX, Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle SQL, JavaScript, and SQL Reports.
- Additional knowledge in ReactJS, Apex Office Print (AOP), and PowerBI is advantageous.
- Experience supporting application incidents and handling change requests.
- Participation in Continuous Integration and DevOps processes.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $105,226 to $144,034 annually, depending on your experience and skills.
