Role Overview

The Application Consultant will be responsible for managing, configuring, and continuously enhancing the ServiceNow platform, which supports a large portion of the organization's HR and IT service delivery. This role involves translating business needs across various departments into effective, configured, and well-documented application solutions as part of the broader applications landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain the ServiceNow platform ensuring high levels of performance, security, and reliability.
  • Design, configure, and optimize workflows, automations, service catalogs, and business applications within the platform.
  • Enhance HR Service Delivery functionalities including case management and employee service processes.
  • Collect and translate business requirements into scalable, dependable application solutions.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other core business applications such as SAP SuccessFactors and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
  • Provide in-depth application support including troubleshooting and conducting root cause analyses.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and analytics to improve operational insight and guide decision-making.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to implement enhancements and deliver projects.

Experience & Technical Skills

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in enterprise application administration, configuration, and support roles.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow administration and configuration.
  • Knowledge of ERP and/or HCM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Comprehensive understanding of business processes spanning HR, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain management.
  • Proficient in ServiceNow modules including HR Service Delivery (HRSD) and IT Service Management (ITSM).
  • Expertise with Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, IntegrationHub, and Service Catalog functionalities.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, system integrations, and identity management solutions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, Microsoft Azure, and enterprise integration tools.
  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript and best practice application configuration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification highly preferred.
  • Additional certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft certifications, or other ServiceNow credentials are advantageous.
