Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Appian Developer with 5-7 years of IT background, including at least 5 years dedicated to Appian development. The ideal candidate should hold an Appian L2 Senior Developer certification and have a strong grasp of designing, developing, and deploying Appian components such as Interfaces and Process Models from finalized Functional Requirement Documents (FRD) while adhering to best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in the full software development lifecycle encompassing requirements collection, coding, deployment, and assisting with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production support.
- Develop integrations with external systems leveraging Web APIs, Integration Objects, and Web Services.
- Possess experience integrating Appian with platforms like SharePoint, SAP, Salesforce, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
- Write complex SQL queries and functions to support Appian solutions.
- Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including specifications and user manuals.
- Manage solution deployments using version control tools such as Bitbucket and GIT.
- Actively participate in code reviews to uphold coding standards and ensure quality.
- Provide technical support during UAT and production environments by resolving change requests and defects tracked via JIRA.
- Lead governance and best practices initiatives related to Appian development in collaboration with client sponsors.
