Experience Requirements

• Minimum of five years’ experience in platform engineering, middleware, or infrastructure support roles.
• At least three years of practical experience maintaining and operating Apache Kafka in live production setups.
• Proven background in managing large, distributed systems effectively.

Technical Skill Set

• Expertise in Apache Kafka administration and operational management.
• Knowledge of Kafka components including Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, and Kafka Streams.
• Proficiency in Linux system administration.
• Experience using containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Familiarity with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure providers, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Developing and managing infrastructure via Infrastructure as Code tools, with preference for Terraform.
• Usage of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Capability to script using Python, Shell, or PowerShell languages.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any discipline to be eligible for this position.
