Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sophisticated features on the Android platform.
• Apply sound object-oriented design principles to solve project challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Conduct unit testing to ensure code robustness, including edge cases and usability.
• Address bugs and optimize application performance continuously.
• Investigate, assess, and adopt new technologies to enhance development productivity.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Between zero and six months of experience in software development.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Java and Kotlin; experience with React Native considered a plus.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs used to integrate Android apps with back-end services.
• Experience managing offline data storage, threading, and performance optimization.
• Understanding of various web technologies and UI/UX design standards.
• Solid knowledge of Android design tenets and interface guidelines.
• Working knowledge of version control systems such as Bitbucket.

Educational Background

• Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, at Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
• Relevant professional certifications are advantageous.
