  • Adopt DevSecOps strategies including vulnerability assessments, container security, secrets handling, access policies, and secure deployment procedures.
  • Design and support highly available systems, backup and disaster recovery plans, and business continuity strategies.
  • Optimize resource usage, application throughput, scalability, and manage cloud expenditures effectively.
  • Define infrastructure standards, reusable automation templates, deployment protocols, and maintain thorough operational documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with development, QA, security, architecture, and infrastructure departments to enhance software delivery and system stability.
  • Mentor team members by providing expert guidance, reviewing configuration and automation scripts, and promoting DevOps excellence.
  • Engage in solution design, infrastructure evaluation, technical consulting, and ongoing enhancement initiatives.
  • Participate actively in Agile/Scrum processes including sprint planning, daily meetings, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coordinate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to deliver DevOps objectives within sprint boundaries.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in DevOps roles covering cloud infrastructure, automation, and operational support.
  • Practical experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitLab or Jenkins and familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Proven hands-on expertise with major cloud providers, specifically AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, container orchestration, Helm charts, cluster administration, and related troubleshooting.
  • Experience employing Terraform or comparable Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Competency with monitoring and log management tools, including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Loki, or cloud-native options.
  • Strong Linux administration skills, shell scripting capabilities, and understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and application connectivity diagnostics.
  • Background in managing production incidents, performing root cause analyses, and enhancing system performance and reliability.
  • A solid grasp of cloud security concepts such as IAM, network, container security, and DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Python or shell scripting, infrastructure cost optimization, disaster recovery tactics, and designing for high availability.
  • Hands-on with security tooling like Trivy, SonarQube, and cloud-based security monitoring solutions.
