Role Overview
We are seeking Android engineers to develop the native Android experience for BJAK's AI Neobank App. This position emphasizes delivering seamless user flows, high performance, quality products, and dependable mobile features utilized by actual customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy native Android functionalities including onboarding, accounts, cards, payments, transfers, rewards, and AI-enhanced user journeys.
- Simplify complex financial processes into swift, intuitive, and dependable mobile experiences.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend developers, and AI engineers to transition features from concept to production.
- Take ownership of application quality, including performance optimization, crash reduction, smooth loading, handling edge cases, and ensuring release stability.
- Utilize production feedback, analytics, and user behavior insights to continually enhance features post-launch.
- Integrate APIs, implement authentication, manage secure data communication, and handle financial workflows with meticulous attention to robustness and reliability.
Candidate Requirements
- Proficient in native Android development using Kotlin.
- Experience launching Android applications that serve real users.
- Deep understanding of Android architectures, Jetpack libraries, Coroutines, Flow, and contemporary Android development practices.
- Strong product intuition with an emphasis on superior user experience beyond just visual interface implementation.
- Ability to diagnose production issues and improve app speed, stability, and reliability.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and adapting quickly without compromising quality.

- Track record of significant technology contributions such as building, shipping, or scaling substantial products, platforms, or systems.
