Anaplan Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities

As an Anaplan Solution Architect, you will oversee the complete architectural design and strategic use of Anaplan solutions within Macquarie. Your duties include establishing design standards, integration methods, governance frameworks, and scaling approaches to ensure consistency, reliability, and alignment with business objectives. Collaboration is essential, as you will engage with Anaplan development teams, Enterprise and Data Architects, along with senior Finance and Technology leaders, to transform complex planning needs into practical and scalable solution frameworks. You will also lead architectural guidance, enhance the expertise of model builders, and promote Anaplan as a cohesive enterprise-wide function rather than separate individual models.

Qualifications and Expertise

• Certified Master Anaplanner qualification is mandatory.
• Over 10 years of extensive experience in Anaplan, including proficiency with Polaris, Workflow, and Data Orchestration.
• Proven track record as a Solution Architect delivering large-scale financial, workforce, or operational planning models within complex enterprise settings.
• Strong abilities in stakeholder management, architectural influence, and squad enablement.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Anaplan integration tools such as ADO, APIs, Anaplan Connect, CloudWorks, and ETL processes.
• Deep understanding of financial planning and forecasting, preferably within financial services contexts.
• Experience collaborating with Enterprise Architects, Data Architects, and delivery teams to ensure alignment of application, data, integration, and governance strategies.
