Role Overview

We are seeking an Analytics Manager II to lead the payments analytics team within Grab Financial Services. You'll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Business, and Data Science teams to define analytics strategies, monitor key ecosystem metrics, and identify actionable growth opportunities. Your work will directly influence senior leadership decisions and help accelerate product rollouts across Southeast Asia. This position is fully onsite at our Grab One North Singapore office.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop hypotheses and model business opportunities addressing critical payments challenges, adapting existing models across regional markets to boost product velocity.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to design, implement, and assess controlled experiments such as A/B and multivariate tests guiding product launch decisions.
• Create advanced statistical and econometric models—including mixed-effects, causal inference, and anomaly detection—to analyze user behaviors and monitor product performance.
• Set analytics standards and measurement frameworks, driving the development of internal tools that facilitate data summarization and troubleshooting for cross-functional teams.
• Mentor and guide analytics team members, promoting strong statistical rigor, technical skills, and best practices.
• Lead the integration of Generative AI workflows, such as natural language to SQL translations, automated exploratory data analysis, and report automation, to enhance operational efficiency and embed AI-assisted analytics into daily operations.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years experience in product analytics, business analytics, or data strategy handling large-scale, high-throughput data within fintech, banking, or consumer technology sectors.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience managing or mentoring analytics teams, preferably in distributed or regional settings.
• Expert-level SQL skills for complex data manipulations and practical experience in creating dashboards using BI tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
• Hands-on proficiency with Big Data technologies and scripting languages such as Python, PySpark, and Spark for data transformation and statistical analysis.
• Solid practical knowledge of experimental design including A/B testing, multivariate testing, and causal inference within agile environments.
• Strong ability to communicate complex quantitative insights into strategic plans for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience utilizing AI technologies and emerging tools to boost productivity, optimize workflows, and innovate solutions.
