Role Overview

The Technology Services Group (TSG) is tasked with maintaining stable technology infrastructure and standardized tools across Brookfield's Asset Management division. The Analyst will play a critical role in overseeing Investor Applications' operations and promoting their growth.

Key responsibilities include delivering exceptional service to various business units, implementing new solutions and upgrades to drive business expansion, while managing daily operational tasks supporting crucial applications.

The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of the Asset Management sector, including institutional and wealth distribution channels, combined with technical skills to configure applications, integrate systems, and implement complex solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, customize, and maintain Salesforce environments tailored to financial services.
  • Work collaboratively with business and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver strategic solutions.
  • Assist in diagnosing and resolving production issues under senior guidance.
  • Maintain documentation for current functions and contribute to enhancement projects through development and testing.
  • Perform data analysis, write queries, and support ad hoc reporting needs.
  • Assist in managing system integrations via API interaction supervised by senior developers.
  • Stay updated with Salesforce platform enhancements and continuously build technical expertise through self-learning.
  • Participate in evaluating and testing new technologies and tools as part of ongoing projects.
  • Clearly communicate technical challenges and project progress to team members and stakeholders.
  • Maintain internal documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and application support.
  • Build strong professional relationships by demonstrating responsiveness and professionalism.
  • Manage assigned responsibilities autonomously, seeking assistance as needed for timely completion.
  • Develop familiarity with Brookfield’s operations and how technology supports corporate objectives.
  • Contribute proactively to team discussions and project planning sessions.
  • Embody Brookfield’s core values and promote a respectful, collaborative work environment.

Candidate Profile

  • At least 3 years of experience in Salesforce development and configuration, particularly with Sales Cloud.
  • Proficiency in Apex coding including classes, triggers, and test classes.
  • Experience working with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components.
  • Strong command of SOQL queries.
  • Exposure to Salesforce Flow tools such as Process Builder and Workflows.
  • Understanding of custom objects, field-level security, and page layouts.
  • Familiarity with SOAP/REST API integrations is advantageous.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with tools like Workbench or Developer Console for SOQL query management.
  • Strong organizational abilities to juggle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in team environments.
  • Experience working in Agile development settings is preferred.
  • Knowledge of DST/Transfer Agency operations and data reconciliation is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Educational background includes a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related areas.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I and Salesforce Administrator certifications are favored.
  • Additional experience with Workato, FISDX, Intralinks, Loopio, Seismic, Jira, C#, Azure applications, and front-end technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and XML is desirable.
