Role Summary

The pvtIQ team seeks an enthusiastic Analyst specializing in ASEAN private markets to conduct ongoing research on venture capital and private equity-backed companies and industries within the region, aimed at providing valuable insights for institutional investors.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and produce impactful reports on ASEAN venture capital and private equity-backed enterprises and sectors for institutional clients.
• Create and utilize proprietary data sets and metrics, and develop research frameworks to analyze trends and opportunities in ASEAN businesses and industries.
• Establish and nurture relationships with industry experts, clients, and media to enhance primary research efforts and thought leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in equity research, private equity, or venture capital sectors.
• A strong desire to deepen knowledge of Singapore and the wider ASEAN private markets, including key companies and sectors.
• Proven capability to generate and publish well-researched investment insights and reports.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with experience engaging senior stakeholders and clients.
• A forward-thinking approach with comfort in using AI tools to support research publication and proprietary data development.
