Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Analog Layout Engineer to join our team onsite in Bengaluru. The role involves providing expert layout design support for advanced semiconductor nodes, collaborating closely with global layout and design teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute block-level and IP-level analog layout designs.
- Coordinate effectively with circuit designers and the layout team to ensure project alignment.
- Take charge of floorplanning and layout design for analog modules including SerDes, ADC/DAC, and PLL components.
- Manage top-level integration tasks to ensure seamless functionality.
Technical Expertise and Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in analog or RF layout design.
- Deep knowledge and practical experience with analog layout principles for deep sub-micron process technologies.
- Understanding of fabrication processes, with preference for candidates experienced in FinFET technology.
- Strong grasp of ESD, latch-up, electromigration, along with proficient debugging skills for DRC, LVS, and antenna rule violations.
- Familiarity and experience with Cadence design tools and TSMC process flows are advantageous.
Job Complexity and Leadership
- Tackle complex technical challenges through comprehensive evaluation and careful method selection.
- Apply independent judgment in choosing methodologies and evaluation standards to achieve desired outcomes.
- Engage with individuals beyond own area of expertise to enhance work quality.
- May oversee and guide team members, setting methods and procedures for new projects as a Team Lead.
