Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Deliver consignments to various customer sites including major distribution centres, shopping centres, wholesale outlets, and business locations.
• Conduct local and shuttle delivery operations as needed.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ensure secure and timely delivery of goods within specified timeframes.
• Comply with company protocols related to vehicle pre-start inspections, load restraint, and vehicle security.
• Adhere to strict security policies.
• Maintain precise delivery records using the provided PDA technology.
• Capable of performing deliveries primarily within the Melbourne metropolitan area, with occasional trips to Canberra as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a valid Heavy Commercial (HC) driver's licence is mandatory.
• Experience in performing local delivery duties within Melbourne metropolitan region.
• A proactive and customer-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high service standards.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong knowledge of the Melbourne metro geography.
• Compliance with DHL’s policies and operational procedures.
• Willingness to provide a current full driving record upon request.
• Preparedness to undergo security clearance and pre-employment medical evaluations as part of the hiring process.
