Allocations Supervisor

About the Role

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking a well-organized and proactive Allocations Supervisor to join their team at the Granville Laboratory in New South Wales. This full-time, on-site position involves managing the allocation of concrete testing services across NSW, ensuring optimal resource use and coordination with field testers and stakeholders. The workweek includes Monday through Saturday shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate effectively with customers and various internal teams to facilitate positive results for the Technical Operations field-testing group.
• Assign daily field-testing tasks to both company and contracted field testers, optimizing scheduling and resource allocation throughout NSW.
• Review and monitor customer bookings to assess their specific testing requirements.
• Gain comprehensive understanding of test types, frequency, necessary equipment, and duration for each job.
• Maintain communication with the Customer Service Centre regarding new, cancelled, or reassigned assignments.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses calm and quick decision-making abilities with strong negotiation skills to manage dynamic and changing work demands.
• Demonstrates excellent teamwork and communication skills capable of collaborating effectively across departments.
• Adaptable and flexible in responding to shifting priorities and operational needs.
• Preferable but not essential experience includes resource allocation in fast-paced settings, knowledge of the construction sector, experience in concrete testing, and familiarity with Australian Standards, RMS specifications, and NATA requirements.
• Competency with software tools such as Qest Lab, Qest Field, and SAP is advantageous.
