Position Summary
This full-time position, based onsite in the Greater Bhopal Area, involves comprehensive management of Linux and AIX servers. The administrator's daily tasks include installation, configuration, continuous monitoring, and performance enhancement of the systems. The role demands routine administration, system security assurance, issue troubleshooting, and providing technical support to internal and client teams. Responsibilities also include managing patches and upgrades, performance tuning, documentation, and adherence to change management protocols. Collaboration with IT departments to support operational and project-based activities is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Expertise in Linux system administration encompassing installation, configuration, monitoring, and optimization.
- Strong problem-solving skills for technical support and issue resolution in system and applications.
- Experience in managing patches, conducting updates, and implementing security hardening within enterprise settings.
- Knowledge of AIX operating systems, including shell scripting and command-line automation tools.
- Understanding of basic networking, storage solutions, and backup and recovery processes.
- Capability to operate onsite in the Greater Bhopal region, manage multiple priorities, and work effectively within teams.
- Academic credentials such as a degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related fields, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Professional certifications like RHCE, Linux+, or IBM AIX credentials are beneficial.
