Air Export Operator – Air Freight & Freight Forwarding

Overview

We are looking for a skilled Air Export Operator based in Dublin to manage comprehensive air freight export processes on a global scale. This role centers on managing bookings, coordinating shipments, and negotiating with carriers to ensure efficient air cargo movements.

Core Duties

• Manage end-to-end air export freight operations including handling bookings, routing arrangements, and shipment tracking for urgent air cargo.
• Negotiate with airlines, general sales agents, and international freight partners to obtain competitive rates and secure cargo space.
• Prepare accurate air export documentation such as MAWBs, HAWBs, and export customs declarations compliant with Irish Revenue and aviation security standards.
• Serve as the main contact for clients, providing timely transit updates and tailored freight logistics solutions.
• Oversee job costing for air export assignments, audit freight invoices, and manage billing to ensure profitability of each file.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in air export freight forwarding within Ireland.
• Thorough understanding of air export paperwork, Known Cargo security protocols, and Ireland's export customs regulatory requirements.
• Practical expertise with freight management software platforms such as CargoWise, MultiFreight, or equivalent air freight systems.
• Capability to efficiently manage numerous shipments simultaneously within strict airline deadline requirements.
