Role Overview
The AI Systems and Solutions Specialist is pivotal to driving Seequent's AI-led transformation across commercial and operational sectors. This role blends technical expertise and business acumen to construct, maintain, and optimize AI-powered workflows and automation solutions while collaborating with multiple business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business teams to identify process challenges and contribute to AI-driven solutions.
- Support deployment of AI initiatives that align with company technical strategies.
- Deliver AI solutions integrated with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce.
- Develop and sustain integrations with data platforms and enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with data teams to guarantee data quality and reliability for AI models.
- Implement AI best practices and drive ongoing process enhancements.
- Prepare documentation and training resources to facilitate AI tool adoption.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or related discipline.
- About 3 years of practical IT experience as a developer, analyst, or integration specialist.
- Experience or keen interest in business process automation, including tools like RPA or Salesforce.
- Familiarity with AI and automation platforms such as Vertex AI, Agentforce, or Workato.
- Proficiency in programming or scripting languages, preferably Python.
- Working knowledge of SQL databases and API integrations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork capabilities.
Work Environment and Additional Information
This position is located in Christchurch and requires office presence. Collaboration with global teams from Seequent and parent company Bentley is essential, necessitating flexibility to accommodate various time zones. The role entails extensive cross-departmental interaction without direct managerial duties.
