AI Specialist

Overview

This role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying generative AI models and applications to enhance company products and processes. Responsibilities include optimizing AI systems, managing AI/ML infrastructure, and ensuring system integration and performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as data scientists, programmers, and executives is central, alongside translating complex AI concepts for varied audiences.

Key Duties and Contributions

• Develop and fine-tune generative AI and machine learning models and applications.
• Upgrade and optimize existing generative AI frameworks for better efficiency and performance.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest generative AI advancements and techniques.
• Establish and oversee AI/ML development workflows and required infrastructure.
• Collaborate across teams including data scientists and product managers to align AI capabilities with business needs.
• Effectively communicate AI model value and technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Perform statistical analyses to guide decisions and develop data transformation pipelines.
• Automate essential functions within the data science team to enhance productivity.
• Deploy AI models via APIs and maintain comprehensive API documentation for smooth integrations.
• Participate in system integration initiatives ensuring seamless AI solution implementation.
• Research and experiment with new generative AI methods to advance product features.
• Contribute strategically to the organization's AI roadmap and innovation efforts.
• Implement rigorous testing regimens to verify AI model reliability, scalability, and compliance with ethical standards.
• Conduct regular audits on AI systems to ensure model accuracy and adherence to data privacy.

Qualifications and Experience

• Holding a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Possessing 6 to 8 years of experience in software development, predominantly focusing on AI and frontend technologies.
• At least 4 years in a substantive AI development and deployment role.
• Comprehensive expertise in generative AI technologies, natural language processing, and computer vision.
• Familiarity with ethical AI principles and data protection laws.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, database management, and cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on experience with data mining strategies and tools.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in statistical methods and competent at interpreting analytical outcomes effectively.
