Role Overview
The AI Solution Architect will act as a strategic technologist guiding enterprise-scale cloud and Generative AI transformations primarily for clients in the banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) sector. This position combines executive advisory responsibilities with hands-on architectural leadership to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant technology solutions aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, and Chief Architects crafting cloud, data, and AI transformation strategies.
- Develop enterprise architecture blueprints that conform to TOGAF standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Chair Architecture Review Boards ensuring adherence to governance policies across programs.
- Create technology roadmaps supporting long-term transformation goals.
- Lead cloud modernization projects from migration through re-architecture stages.
- Champion the deployment of Generation AI technologies including agentic AI workflows, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures, and enterprise knowledge bases.
- Implement scalable operational GenAI solutions across various business domains.
- Design distributed, cloud-native systems with multi-region high availability and scalability.
- Promote adoption of serverless, event-driven designs, microservices, and container orchestration platforms.
- Ensure implementations adhere to Zero Trust security principles and deliver robust enterprise resilience.
- Build frameworks for Responsible AI including model governance, bias reduction, explainability, and data privacy safeguards such as protection of personally identifiable information (PII).
- Establish machine learning operations (MLOps) pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment of AI models.
Required Skills and Expertise
- Strong command of enterprise architecture frameworks, particularly TOGAF.
- Expertise in leading cloud platforms with a focus on AWS and multi-cloud strategies.
- Hands-on experience with AI/GenAI toolsets and technologies such as AWS Bedrock, AgentCore, Lambda functions, large language models (LLMs), and RAG methods.
- Deep familiarity with data platforms including real-time streaming solutions like Kinesis and MSK, Databricks, and lakehouse architectures.
- Proven capability implementing DevOps best practices including CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- In-depth knowledge of security standards emphasizing Zero Trust architecture and regulatory compliance for data privacy.
Experience & Qualifications
- 10 to 14 years' experience in enterprise IT architecture and leading digital transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated success delivering enterprise AI and GenAI programs on a global scale.
- Preferred exposure to BFSI industries.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional), AWS GenAI/ML certifications, TOGAF, and credentials in Data Analytics, ML, DevOps, Cloud Security, or Networking are strongly favored.
