AI Senior Security Capability Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned AI Senior Security Capability Engineer to influence and enhance AI security across a variety of AI-driven projects. This opportunity is ideal for those who relish tackling complex challenges, working autonomously, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure AI solutions are secure and optimized.

This position is open to candidates located anywhere within Australia.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve the security posture of AI-enabled solutions and applications.
• Collaborate closely with multiple teams to ensure AI technologies meet security standards and effectiveness.
• Identify vulnerabilities, including risks of information exposure and security gaps in AI implementations.
• Enhance existing AI capabilities rather than developing new applications from the ground up.
• Carry out technology evaluations, conduct security assessments, and develop proof-of-concept demonstrations as necessary.
• Work with stakeholders to design scalable and practical security measures.
• Provide support for AI security programs across various business units, accommodating differing technologies and use cases.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Deep understanding of AI security concepts and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with AI technologies including prompt engineering and solution optimization.
• Knowledge of relevant technologies such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Multi-Cloud Platforms (MCP), APIs, and AI integrations.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and application security methodologies.
• Strong ability to assess architectural designs, security risks, and technical solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication capabilities.
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and a penchant for learning emerging technologies independently.
