Overview
Join our Security Development team within the Technology division as a Vice President level AI Security Developer. This role involves deploying specialist cybersecurity expertise to design and implement solutions that safeguard Morgan Stanley's systems and networks against potential threats. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements thoroughly and develop technical designs accordingly.
- Research and engineer innovative technical solutions based on specified needs and designs.
- Develop AI-driven enhancements to strengthen the Firm-wide cybersecurity posture and improve existing Cyber Defense and Response (CDRR) products and processes.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation and support operational teams including Site Reliability Engineering.
- Ensure adherence to secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices throughout development.
- Drive continual process improvement by exploring alternative technologies and presenting findings for architectural reviews.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficient with Python programming language.
- Experience utilizing open-source AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch and LangChain.
- Knowledgeable in test-driven development methodologies.
- Hands-on expertise with CI/CD tools, including Git, Jenkins, and TeamCity.
- Practical experience working with databases such as relational (RDBMS), NoSQL, or graph databases.
- Minimum of six years relevant professional experience in cybersecurity or software development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Practical experience working with cutting-edge generative AI technologies, including fine-tuning, model distillation, retrieval-augmented generation, MCP, and A2A techniques.
- Solid understanding of core artificial intelligence and machine learning principles.
- Experience in data engineering processes.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as sprint planning, daily scrums, and retrospectives.
- Basic Linux operating system knowledge.
- Awareness of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Ansible, Kubernetes, as well as Splunk and public cloud management platforms.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills paired with a collaborative team-oriented approach.
