Role Overview

We seek an AI Product Manager based in Versova, Mumbai, with 4-8 years of experience who will drive the complete product lifecycle for fintech offerings. This role requires daily use of AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to synthesize research, draft product requirements, and enable fast-paced collaboration with engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company objectives.
• Leverage AI platforms (Claude, ChatGPT) as essential tools for drafting PRDs, conducting user research synthesis, competitive analysis, and backlog prioritization, including integrating AI Research Summaries in all PRDs.
• Conduct thorough market and competitor analysis along with user interviews to uncover pain points in the Indian fintech sector.
• Create detailed product requirement documents, epics, and user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on user impact and business value, collaborating closely with engineering.
• Work collaboratively within an agile pod alongside engineers and testers to bridge design, development, and business goals.
• Establish and monitor KPIs and OKRs to assess product performance and guide data-driven improvements.
• Stay informed of regulatory requirements from RBI, NPCI, and SEBI ensuring compliance.
• Lead go-to-market strategies and coordinate with marketing for successful product launches.

Candidate Profile

• Proven product management expertise with 5+ years overall, including a minimum of 2 years in fintech, payments, or financial services industry.
• Demonstrable success in launching B2C or B2B fintech products tailored to the Indian market.
• Daily user of AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT for research and product development, integrating AI within the product management process.
• In-depth knowledge of the Indian fintech landscape, including UPI, payment gateways, lending, KYC, and digital banking.
• Strong analytical skills and a data-centric approach to decision-making.
• Practical experience with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Excellent communication abilities and skills in aligning with stakeholders effectively.
• Preferred qualifications include an engineering or MBA background, familiarity with A/B testing, product analytics, and experience with AI-enhanced product features or language model integrations.

Additional Details

This is a full-time permanent position located in Mumbai (Versova). The shift corresponds to IST (GMT+5:30). Salary is confidential and based on experience. Strong commitment to a long-term career with the company, ideally for at least three years, is expected.
