About PetYosa
PetYosa is a comprehensive pet-care platform in India, offering a consumer app for pet owners and a suite of software solutions for veterinarians, groomers, boarding facilities, and pet stores that serve them.
Role Overview
We are seeking dedicated engineers to build and maintain PetYosa’s products using AI-driven coding agents. You will manage the entire development cycle, ensuring every modification is validated with real customer impact before considering it complete. The founder, who is not an engineer, pioneered a method of directing AI coding agents to make thousands of precise code changes and documentation updates, and you will continue working within and enhancing this disciplined process.
Development Methodology
Each development step follows a rigorous pipeline: build, smoke test, adversarial review, fix, commit, push, merge, deploy from the merged commit, and finally demonstrate visibility and functionality for the customer. Bugs are addressed comprehensively across the platform rather than just the reported instance.
Hiring Process
The recruitment involves a brief application, multiple automated online proctored tests without external aids, and 1–2 interviews. Tests are progressively unlocked based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain features across the consumer app, partner platform, admin interface, and underlying APIs.
- Thoroughly test all changes before and after deployment.
- Utilize Claude Code and Codex AI agents in coordinated roles for building, reviewing, and attacking code.
- Adhere to and enhance the established build method on every change, closing issues only after customer confirmation.
- Identify and resolve all occurrences of reported bugs throughout the system.
- Keep operational playbooks updated within the same code changes.
- Communicate succinctly and clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Experience directing AI coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex CLI with demonstrable shipped projects.
- A proactive mindset toward testing and breaking your work after initial success.
- Ability to discern and validate AI-generated code outputs.
- Competency in reading and understanding TypeScript, React, Node.js, MongoDB/PostgreSQL, and Docker to assess AI contributions.
- Open and factual communication, accepting feedback by verifying issues before defending solutions.
- Clear, plain English writing suitable for non-engineer leadership.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Linux servers and hypervisors.
- Familiarity with Playwright or other end-to-end testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of mobile app builds using Capacitor or Android platforms.
- Exposure to Razorpay payment systems or WhatsApp Business API integration.

Compensation and Benefits
The role offers an annual salary between INR 2,000,000 and 2,400,000 with an outstanding long-term incentive plan (LTIP) available for top performers.
