Role Overview
This opportunity is a part-time, remote role targeting beginners as Web Developers. It is an unpaid position that provides hands-on experience working on active projects within SJA Pathway's platforms. Daily duties include helping develop and upkeep web applications, creating front-end components, and supporting back-end services under guidance. The role encourages working alongside mentors and team members to resolve bugs, test new features, and enhance intuitive user designs. Participants will gain valuable exposure to industry best practices such as version control and documentation, fostering portfolio building and employability.
Qualifications & Skills
- Basic knowledge of front-end development, including web design and general web development concepts.
- Fundamental understanding of back-end development and programming principles.
- Willingness to learn and utilize current web technologies and frameworks like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one coding language.
- Interest and enthusiasm for contributing to AI-driven digital products working on live projects.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, keen attention to detail, and adherence to coding standards and documentation norms.
- Effective communication skills with the capability to collaborate remotely in culturally diverse teams.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent disciplines (formal education or self-taught).
