AI Data Service Operations - Safety Model Data Team Lead

About the Role

As part of the EMEA AI Data Service and Operations (ADSO) team at TikTok, you will lead the Safety Model Operations sub-team, responsible for providing safety and non-safety data annotation and search operation services supporting international products. This role involves building strong communication strategies across departments to enhance efficiency, standardizing project management workflows, and managing diverse content such as images, videos, and texts, including sensitive topics like bullying and hate speech.

Key Responsibilities

• Expand and manage the Quality Assurance (QA) team, overseeing daily activities.
• Independently and collaboratively work with stakeholders to maintain top-tier project performance and develop best practices for sustainability.
• Localize operational processes and manage labeling projects to deliver outcomes that meet quality standards.
• Employ performance management techniques to ensure timely, efficient data delivery and provide comprehensive reports to business units.
• Proactively implement regional and global strategies with a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Facilitate effective communication across diverse teams fostering collaboration.
• Conduct recruitment and hiring processes to build a skilled and capable team.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in industries related to short video products.
• Minimum one year of leadership experience in trust and safety or policy roles within major technology or media companies.
• Thorough understanding of labeling business logic and coordination with upstream and downstream teams.
• Ability to adapt quickly within a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and capability to engage with various management levels.
