Role Overview
We are recruiting for an AI Agent Engineer position to join our client's team remotely from anywhere. This role centers on creating and managing large language model (LLM) agents deployed in production environments, focusing on reliability and operational accountability within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver agent systems that support real users and promptly troubleshoot failures.
- Design and execute evaluation strategies to assess performance improvements or declines of agents.
- Develop, maintain, and orchestrate long-running agent workflows, including scheduled operations and cloud-based sandbox environments.
- Monitor internal user adoption of AI agent tools and detect obstacles hindering broader utilization.
- Create and oversee internal infrastructure components for agent memory, reusable capabilities, and tooling interfaces.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in architecting agent systems that meet real-world reliability standards.
- Solid understanding of agent evaluation frameworks and performance monitoring techniques.
- Knowledge of handling persistent, scheduled execution of agents and workflows.
- Insight into internal tool adoption mechanisms and user engagement patterns.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for complex distributed agent architectures.
- Expertise in developing and maintaining agent tooling interfaces and interoperability protocols.
- Experience integrating agent functionalities with organizational data sources and internal systems.
- Ability to monitor and manage agent-related costs and resource usage effectively.
