About the Role
Finedge Training Institute is seeking an Admission Counsellor to guide prospective students by understanding their career aspirations, explaining BFSI career training offerings, managing objections, and successfully converting leads into enrolled students. This role requires confidence during calls, a goal-driven approach, and the ability to persuasively discuss paid career development services targeting students and professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound inquiries sourced through digital platforms like Meta, Google, and WhatsApp.
- Engage with potential candidates to assess their educational background, experience, goals, and financial preferences.
- Provide comprehensive information on BFSI career programs including eligibility criteria, syllabus, duration, fees, and job prospects.
- Conduct structured counselling sessions and consistent follow-up communications.
- Address concerns related to course fee, program payment, placement support, eligibility, location, and potential career outcomes.
- Explain payment and financing schemes when applicable.
- Convert qualified prospects into paying students.
- Maintain ongoing communication using calls and WhatsApp for follow-up.
- Log lead statuses, follow-ups, and conversion data accurately using CRM or a lead tracker system.
- Collaborate with training and placement teams post-enrollment.
- Keep detailed records of daily activities and result reports.
- Meet monthly targets for admissions and revenue generation.
- Ensure candidates complete all payment and documentation formalities.
Candidate Profile
- Graduate or undergraduate degree holders with strong communication abilities.
- Fresh candidates encouraged to apply; prior exposure to EdTech, telecalling, inside sales, admissions counselling, BFSI, or recruitment sectors is preferred.
- Excellent verbal articulation and persuasive skills.
- Comfortable performing a high volume of daily calls.
- Proficient at handling objections and diligent with follow-ups.
- Driven by targets and self-motivated.
- Basic proficiency with WhatsApp, Google Meet, CRM platforms, and MS Office or Google Workspace.
- Capable of clearly explaining paid offerings without providing misleading information.
Performance Metrics
- Number of contacts made with leads.
- Calls and follow-up completions.
