Job description
Overview
This role requires proficiency in English and a secondary school diploma or an equivalent background combined with relevant experience. Candidates should have between three and five years of applicable work history. The position mandates on-site work at the Niagara Falls office; remote options are not available.
Primary Responsibilities
- Sorting and distributing incoming mail and various materials
- Coordinating and confirming appointments for office personnel
- Managing telephone communications, including answering calls and relaying messages
- Responding to electronic inquiries promptly and professionally
- Collecting, compiling, and maintaining data, statistics, and assorted information
- Ordering office materials and keeping track of inventory levels
- Welcoming guests and guiding them to appropriate contacts or service departments
- Establishing and maintaining both manual and digital filing systems
- Typing and proofreading business correspondence, forms, and documents
- Performing data entry duties accurately
- Handling fundamental bookkeeping tasks
- Preparing shipping documentation such as bills of lading and invoices
- Managing accounts receivable processes
Technical Expertise
- Proficient with Sage Accounting software
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and overall MS Office suite
- Familiarity with database and accounting software
- Ability to use Adobe Acrobat Reader effectively
- Experience with computerized bookkeeping systems
