Activities Team Member

Position Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and outgoing individuals to join our team as Activities Team Members at Haven. This role involves delivering a range of engaging and memorable activities to guests, primarily in an active outdoor setting. Your contribution will be vital in ensuring guests have unforgettable experiences during their stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup, operation, and dismantling of daily activities, prioritising safety and readiness for guests.
• Engage with guests of diverse age groups, offering support, encouragement, and friendly interaction throughout activities.
• Conduct safety briefings and ensure guests understand proper equipment usage in accordance with park safety regulations.
• Support guests with various activities such as climbing walls, high ropes, and archery by providing tips and motivation.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and upkeep of activity zones during operational hours.
• Report any concerns related to equipment or safety promptly to leadership personnel.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrate a positive and energetic outlook with strong enthusiasm for outdoor physical activities.
• Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with guests across all age ranges.
• Commit to maintaining high safety standards and consistently follow established guidelines.
• Show flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, holidays, and evening hours.
• Previous experience in similar roles such as sports, activities, or customer service is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Candidates must be aged 18 or above and able to successfully complete an Enhanced DBS check before employment.

Compensation and Contract Details

This position is available as full-time, part-time, or seasonal employment with pay rates up to £12.71 per hour, dependent on age.
