General Maintenance Technician

Position Overview

The hourly pay rate can reach up to £12.71 depending on the candidate's age. This position involves hands-on maintenance work aiming to ensure the park's facilities remain in excellent condition, allowing guests to enjoy an uninterrupted, relaxing stay.

Roles and Duties

• Perform routine inspections and upkeep tasks across park facilities, covering areas such as plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Quickly address minor faults by diagnosing and resolving issues to guarantee smooth operation of amenities.
• Regularly check critical equipment and facilities proactively to prevent malfunctions and maintain safety standards.
• Respond courteously and professionally to maintenance requests submitted by guests, property owners, or team members.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to deliver reliable and high-quality services throughout the park.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs and adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations.

Candidate Requirements

• Hands-on practical experience in general maintenance disciplines including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting is essential.
• Trade qualifications related to maintenance are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Experience with holiday home maintenance is preferred but not a strict requirement.
• Capable of working autonomously as well as part of a team, exhibiting strong problem-solving aptitude.
• Demonstrated commitment to health and safety procedures in the workplace.
• A full UK driving license is desirable.
