Job Overview

As an Accountant at CoinUp.io based in Singapore, you will manage comprehensive accounting functions and contribute to the financial integrity and regulatory compliance of the organization. Your expertise will support business decisions within a fast-evolving fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of daily bookkeeping, reconciliation, and financial reporting to maintain accuracy and ensure compliance with standards.
• Prepare detailed financial statements monthly, quarterly, and annually, accompanied by insightful analysis to aid strategic decision-making.
• Ensure timely and efficient management of Singapore tax filings including GST and corporate income tax, aiming to optimize taxation strategies.
• Act as the liaison for external auditors and regulatory entities to uphold Singapore’s financial compliance requirements.
• Monitor and control budget execution, enhance cost efficiency through optimized financial processes, and support budgeting activities.
• Oversee cash flow, authorize payments, and handle financial transactions to ensure operational security and efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, risk management, and legal departments to deliver financial assistance and refine processes.
• Maintain and improve financial software and ERP systems to boost accounting efficiency and systems reliability.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience managing full-set accounts, ideally within cryptocurrency, fintech, or blockchain sectors.
• In-depth understanding of Singapore financial regulations, tax frameworks, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Proven experience handling financial matters related to digital assets and cryptocurrency; knowledge of exchange operations is advantageous.
• Strong command of financial software applications alongside advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
