About the Role
We are seeking a precise and conscientious accounting professional to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As an Accountant, you will be vital in maintaining trustworthy, compliant, and timely financial records for the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain ledgers and prepare entries for assets, liabilities, and capital accounts.
- Accurately record and process financial transactions following organizational procedures.
- Verify accounts payable requests for legitimacy and approval before processing payments and updating records.
- Conduct reconciliations of bank and balance sheet accounts, addressing any inconsistencies.
- Identify and rectify mistakes in financial information to ensure dependable reporting.
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve invoice issues and discrepancies.
- Examine supporting documents to verify transaction authenticity.
- Backup financial data to ensure security.
- Assist Senior Accountant in ensuring compliance and applying financial policies.
- Provide support for other accounting and procurement tasks as necessary.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Finance; professional accounting certification is a plus.
- At least two years of experience working as an Accountant.
- Meticulous attention to detail with thorough understanding of accounting standards.
