Job Overview
The Accountability Manager operates within the Project Management Group as the primary authority overseeing munitions accountability across the contract. This role manages the Munitions Stock Record Accounts and supports the development of policies and plans related to the Theater Integrated Combat Munitions System (TICMS). It also ensures adherence to the Performance Work Statement and the company’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
Key Responsibilities
- Acts as the sole point of accountability for munitions management in compliance with USAF standards and contract directives.
- Guarantees all munitions transactions are accurately recorded in TICMS and that audit-ready records are maintained.
- Conducts site visits for auditing Munitions Department accountability processes.
- Performs audits of transactions within TICMS/MC2 systems.
- Develops and monitors monthly performance metrics to track trends and historical data on munitions.
- Manages the Regional Ammunition Control Point for the contract.
- Coordinates the preparation and accuracy of recurring reports, computer data submissions, and correspondence related to munitions accountability.
- Leads semi-annual inventory counts and reviews accountable records.
- Supports the development and administration of Quality Control, Training, and Explosives Safety initiatives within the Munitions Program.
- Engages in special projects, management analyses, and reporting for higher management.
- Acts as a substitute for the Munitions Functional Manager when needed.
- Works flexible hours, including on-call duties, to support operational requirements during both peacetime and combat scenarios.
- Assists operational teams with compliance to DAFMAN 21-201 and local accountability regulations.
- Collaborates with stockpile accountability representatives (MASO/MASO delegations).
- Performs various additional tasks as assigned.
- Operates mainly in office and warehouse settings and may be required to exert physical effort over extended periods.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Comprehensive expert knowledge of USAF or equivalent military management, logistics, and maintenance systems.
- Intermediate proficiency with USAF Supply and Technical Order systems or equivalents.
- Strong computer skills including Windows OS and Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Must hold a valid driver's license from home country and be able to obtain one from host country.
- High school diploma or equivalent credential.
- Completion of formal USAF Munitions Systems training or equivalent from another US Service.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience working with Military Munitions.
- At least 5 years’ experience in Munitions Operations or similar roles.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in Munitions Operations.
- At least 1 year of experience managing custody accounts.
- Ability to obtain and retain a Secret US Government Clearance (requires US citizenship).
- Compliance with PPE requirements for assigned tasks.
- Physically capable of duties including lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.
- Capability to travel both domestically and internationally.
- Normal color vision and depth perception required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as USAF MASO.
- Previous staff experience within USAF MAJCOM.
- Possession of CCAF degree specializing in Munitions Management.
