Job Overview

Are you eager to contribute to the success of rapidly expanding Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) by driving innovation and surpassing revenue targets? This role demands sharp business acumen to inspire and coordinate a multifunctional team encompassing sales, product, and alliances, aiming to accelerate growth for AWS and its ISV partners.

AWS is recruiting a seasoned Senior Account Manager focused on engaging with strategic ISVs, tasked with crafting and executing long-term strategies to expand our presence with key ISV clients. Beyond serving as a customer advocate, these partners are collaborators with AWS, pursuing a variety of go-to-market objectives. The role requires establishing extensive relationships, managing opportunities, and orchestrating an extensive resource network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across all levels of the customer’s organization, including C-suite, engineering, IT/Operations, partner organizations, and sales teams.
  • Utilize strategic thinking and collaborative execution skills to address comprehensive needs of ISV clients.
  • Sell at the executive level, developing strategies to secure customer trust and implement services.
  • Work closely with AWS internal teams such as Executives, Partners, Support, and Solution Architects to align with customer interests and AWS business goals.
  • Promote adoption of new services and foster development of new business lines.
  • Maintain dotted-line responsibilities in partnership management and technical collaboration.

Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud, or SaaS sectors, involving interaction with C-level executives.
  • A minimum of 5 years in business development, partner development, sales, or alliances management.
  • Preferred: Over 7 years of experience in business or partner development, sales, or alliances management.
