About the Role

Based in Dubai, the Account Manager for Business Intelligence is tasked with expanding Dow Jones' Business Intelligence solutions throughout the Middle East. This role involves managing existing client relationships and handling the entire sales cycle for Dow Jones Business Intelligence products, focusing on generating new revenue streams through various channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify, nurture, and close new business deals across the full suite of Risk & Compliance products to meet new business revenue targets.
• Maintain and grow the existing Risk and Compliance client portfolio, aiming for retention and upselling opportunities.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and marketing teams to align events, PR, branding, and communications with sales strategies.
• Analyze customer business challenges and tailor Risk & Compliance technology solutions accordingly, employing a solution sales methodology.
• Build and sustain partnerships with external advisory service providers such as technology firms.
• Provide thought leadership to guide strategic direction, branding, value propositions, and product development within Risk & Compliance.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience selling to Financial Institutions and Government organizations.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English languages; degree-level education required.
• Proven experience marketing information and compliance tools to senior business decision-makers.
• Deep understanding of regional compliance regulations and familiarity with the competitive Risk & Compliance solutions landscape.
• Capability to uncover new Business Intelligence opportunities in the market and upsell current Dow Jones clients.
• Strong influencing skills to secure agreement and advance sales processes for Risk & Compliance solutions.
• Ability to clearly comprehend and communicate customers’ challenges to align solutions effectively.
• Comfort working effectively within multicultural environments.
• Skilled in handling multiple priorities and shifting tasks to achieve revenue objectives.
