Role Summary
In the role of SMB Account Executive, you will play a pivotal part in expanding new business in the Small Business segment. You will be joining a dynamic sales team committed to putting customers first and fostering internal growth, development, and promotion. Key Responsibilities
- Drive product advocacy by promoting Intercom’s adoption within the Small Business market.
- Lead and manage the full sales cycle, from identifying prospects to closing deals, using a consultative sales methodology.
- Deliver accurate revenue forecasts and maintain transparency on sales performance.
- Effectively communicate Intercom’s value proposition through the Command of the Message framework.
- Plan sales targets and pacing on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers to secure prominent clients.
- Work closely with Research & Development and Marketing teams to represent customer insights.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a sales closing role.
- At least 1 year of experience selling SaaS solutions.
- Proven ability and experience in outbound prospecting.
- Strong sales instincts with a history of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Adept at working in a fast-paced environment, managing inbound and outbound opportunities across various industries and company sizes.
- Demonstrated ability to win new business in competitive settings.
- A growth-oriented mindset coupled with intellectual curiosity and ambition.
